WOD – 8-21-15 Friday

Every 90 seconds, for 6 sets:

Push Press x4-5*at 90%

*Shoot for 5, if you fail to get there two sets in a row, scale to 4.

 

Every 90 seconds, for 5 sets:

Backsquat:

5 at 80%+5#

4 at 85%+5#

3 at 85-90%+5#

2 at 90-95%+5#

1 at 95%+5#

rest 2 minutes, then:

Backsquat at 85%** x max reps (no excessive pause at the top. Deep breath, brace, and squat)

**same as last week. Try to beat your rep count from last Friday.

 

WOD:

Every 3 minutes, for 18 minutes (6 sets)***:

200m Sprint

14 alternating DB snatches (55/35)

***If you have not finished the round by the 2:30 mark, scale the following round by 2 reps. Record your slowest time out of all 6 sets as your score.

 

We will be testing new 1RM push presses next Tuesday. Please try to make it in and set a new PR!
