Push press

Every 90 seconds, complete one of the following sets:

5 at 75%

4 at 80%

3 at 85%

2 at 90%

2 at 90%

rest 2 minutes, then:

Max effort unbroken STRICT PRESS at 40% of 1RM PUSH PRESS*

*Attempt to beat last weeks score

 

4 min AMRAP:

10 power cleans (95/65)(115/75)

10 front squats

10 shoulder to overhead (athletes competing this saturday MUST push jerk or split with focus on form, not speed)

3 min rest

 

3 min AMRAP:

10 power cleans (95/65) (115/75)

10 front squats

2 min rest

 

2 min AMRAP:

10 front squats (95/65)(115/75)

10 shoulder to overhead

1 min rest

 

1 min AMRAP:

Shoulder to overhead (95/65)(115/75): as many as possible

 

Do not change weight once the WOD starts. Find a weight that you believe will be manageable for the entire piece, and unless you get to a point that technique fails or you flat-out cannot move the weight, stick with it.
